CARIA, Mylasa (or Kaunos). Mid-late 3rd century BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 4.12 g, 12h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; trident head in left field, thunderbolt below throne. Price 2073 (Miletos or Mylasa); Thompson, Alexandrine, Group 3, 16 (same dies). VF, toned, slight die shift on reverse, some porosity. Very rare.
