prytanis. Struck before AD 209. Confronted busts of Caracalla right, laureate, draped and cuirassed, and [Geta] left, bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed; c/m: laureate and draped bust right within oval incuse / Hekate standing left, holding patera and torch; to left, hound standing left, head right. SNG von Aulock 2692 (same obv. die); SNG Copenhagen –; for c/m: Howgego 84. Fine, brown surfaces, metal flaw on reverse.
The portrait of Geta has been removed as part of the damnatio memoriae following his murder in AD 212.
