MATERNUM PERTENTANT GAUDIA PECTUS (joy overflows a women’s bosom), woman seated left, holding infant; two children to left, wool spinner and French eagle with eaglets to right; in two lines in exergue, LA BONNE/MERE / SEDANDÆ POPULORUM ANXIETATI (in order to allay the public concern) on banner, in three lines in exergue, NUPTIÆ REGIÆ/FONTIBELLAOULO/M·DCC·XXV· (the royal wedding at Fontainebleau).
