Since the offering of the Bellaria Collection in Triton IX, CNG's Parthian attributions have been made in accordance with the research of G.R.F. Assar, who had been working with the late Dr. Sellwood on an update to the standard reference for the coinage. Though this updated reference is still forthcoming, since Triton IX, Assar has published new research in various articles, and these have been aggregated in CNG's recent publication of the Sunrise Collection. These new attributions are reflected in the lots below, and will be followed in future offerings of Parthian coins by CNG.
