PHILISTIA (PALESTINE), Azotos (Ashdod)(?). Mid 5th century-333 BC. AR Drachm (14mm, 3.24 g, 4h). Bearded head right / Facing female(?) head, wearing necklace, in pelleted square within incuse square. Unpublished, but cf. Gitler & Tal II.8D for a nearly identical reverse type. Good VF, toned, test cut on reverse. An exceptional type, and on excellent metal. Apparently unique.
