THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 479-460 BC. AR Obol (9mm, 0.66 g, 9h). Head of the nymph Larissa left, wearing pendant earring, her hair bound with a band and tied in a bun at the back; double-axe blade before / ΛARI below, sandal of Jason left; all within incuse square. This variety unpublished in the standard references, but cf. BCD Thessaly II 140 and 349.1 for similar. VF, lightly toned. Good metal.
