Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / ЄΠI [ΓP?] TΩN (ΠЄ)-PI ΦΛ ΔIAΔ-OVMЄN TPAΛΛIANΩN, Zeus Nicephorus seated left facing a cult statue of Artemis Ephesia. BMC -; SNG Copenhagen - (but same obv. die as 704); SNG von Aulock -; Mionnet IV, 193 and Mionnet Suppl.VII, 750 corr. (reading of rev. legend) = Franke & Nollé pp. 126-127 (under Laodicea, “Homonoia mit Tralleis?”). Near VF, dark brown patina, rough surfaces. Extremely rare and with an interesting bust of Philip.
