Dated 1792. Draped and cuirassed bust right / Coat-of-arms surmounted by cap; all on double-headed imperial eagle. Davenport 2700. Good VF, toned, light marks.

This coin, known in German as a “Vikariat” issue, commemorates the death of the Holy Roman Emperor. Electors of the Holy Roman Empire commonly issued these types to honor the recently deceased emperor in the period before the next emperor’s election.
