NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P P, laureate head right, with globe at tip of neck / Three-quarter view of triumphal arch: risers decorated with battle scenes and façades with captives; rounded entrance, garlanded and flanked by Victories flying inward; side niche displays statue of Mars; roof surmounted by facing quadriga, flanked by Victory and Pax, with Nero at front, Victories below, and warrior at edges of platform; S C across field. RIC I 432; WCN 422; Cohen 307. EF, lovely dark green patina with the occasional spot of red. Well centered and struck. Impressive.
