SAKARAUKAE. Cheiroukes. Satrap of Marsakes, circa 50 BC(?) or later. Æ Drachm (18mm, 3.27 g, 6h). “t’t ‘t’t(?)” in Aramaic, beardless bust left, wearing Parthian-style tiara with ear flap / [X]ЄIPOY/KOY HAPO/AKOY CA[T]/PAΠOY (quadrate Os) in four lines across field. Senior 190.2D; Alram 1270; MIG Type 1079; CNG 63, lot 883; cf. J. Rosenfeld, The Dynastic Art of the Kushans, pl. XVI, 2 (for seal with inscription MAPΣAKOY). Good VF, dark brown and green surfaces. Very rare, the sixth known example and possibly best with full Greek inscription.
