ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 16.68 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Themisto-, Theopompos, and Aristo-, magistrates. Struck 117/6 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields; to right, trophy on prow right; K on amphora, ME below; all within wreath. Thompson 606c (this coin illustrated). Good VF, toned.
