REPRODUCTIONS. Diocletian. AD 284-305. Cast Æ ‘Medallion’ (38mm, 30.52 g, 5h). Copying Rome mint. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / The three Monetae standing facing, the outer two with heads left, each holding scales above a stack of coins at their feet and cornucopia. Cf. Gnecchi p. 124, 10 for originals (citing numerous examples housed in museums) and pl. 124, 5 (for illustration of Monaco specimen from the same dies). VF, brown patina. Probably an 18th or early 19th century cast.
