SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Philip I. AD 244-249. BI Tetradrachm (27mm, 11.21 g, 6h). Radiate and cuirassed bust left, wearing balteus; eagles head on breast, shield decorated with Philip on horseback riding left, being led by Victory and followed by a soldier / Eagle standing left, holding wreath in beak. McAlee 962 (same dies as plated specimen); Prieur 436 (same dies as plated specimen). Good VF, toned, minor porosity. Very rare bust type - only 4 specimens cited by Prieur.
