CILICIA(?), Uncertain. 4th century BC. AR Obol (12mm, 0.68 g, 4h). Turreted and draped bust of Tyche (or Tyche-Aphrodite) left / Head of satrap left, wearing kyrbasia; star before. Göktürk 52; Winzer 18.3 (Mazaios); SNG von Aulock 8657; Traité II, 1182 (Evagoras II); BMC Cyprus p. cx, 15 (Evagoras II). VF, porous. An interesting issue. .
in his catalogue, Göktürk tentatively raises the possibility of this belonging to Evagoras II as well. If from Cyprus, the reverse certainly represents Aphrodite with the attributes of Tyche.
