Claudius II Gothicus. AD 268-270. Antoninianus (4.16 g, 6h). Mediolanum (Milan) mint, 2nd officina. 2nd emission, AD 269. IMP CLAVDIVS P F AVG, radiate bust left, wearing consular regalia, holding globe in right hand and eagle-tipped scepter in left / FIDES MILIT, Fides Militum standing facing, head left, holding signa; S. Normanby -; Venèra -; RIC V 149. Good VF, brown surfaces with minute traces of silvering, minor reverse roughness. Very rare and attractive bust type.
