Dated 1666. Bust of August facing slightly right, above, two angels, the left crowning him with wreath, the right blowing trumpet; all within laurel wreath / Horse leaping left, scepter in background, within ornate framework; all within wreath of city shields, above which is A : M : 1666 ÆTA : 88 : NAT : X APR :; below, H S (mintmaster’s signature) and “2” in incuse circle. Welter 785; Davenport 87c. Good VF, toned, a few light scratches and flan flaws, edge marks from possible prior mounting.
