INDIA, Post-Kushan (Samatata). Kushan imitative. Vira Jadamarah. Late 2nd-early 3rd century AD. AV Dinar (6.40 g, 1h). Early coinage. “...Jadaymun(?),” in eastern Brahmi, king standing facing, head left, flame at shoulder, sacrificing over altar and holding trident; Garuda standard to left / Λ:IΟXΟP (sic), nimbate goddess (Ardoxsho or Nana) standing right, holding scepter; tamgha to right. Cf. LOW 23 = HCSEA 63 = ATEC 5232 = MACW 4657; cf. Spink-Taisei 9, lot 17. Good VF. Very rare, combining elements of Kushan and Gupta iconography.
