D N THEODO-SIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / GLORIA REIPVB, Theodosius I and Gratian enthroned facing, each with right hand on a globe between them; above, Victory facing with wings spread, crowning them with laurel wreathes; TESOB. RIC IX 33b var. (emperors holding mappa); Depeyrot 33/2 var. (same); DO -. EF, a few light marks. Extremely rare.


The engraver of the reverse die used for this coin apparently forgot to engrave the left arm of each emperor.
