ACHAEA, Fleet Coinage. Uncertain mint. Mark Antony. 38-37 BC. Æ “Sestertius” (33mm, 20.82 g, 12h). Heavy series. L. Sempronius Atratinus, consul designatus. [M A]NT • IMP TER CO[S DES ITER ET TER III VIR] R• P • C • (NT ligate), bare head of Antony right vis-à-vis head of Octavia left / L • ATRATINVS • [AVGVR • COS • DESIG], two figures standing right on quadriga of hippocamps; HS to left; lituus to right; [in exergue, D and prow of quinquereme left]. RPC I 1453.10 = Amandry, Bronze I, Series II.1.A, 10 (D2/R5; this coin). Near VF, green and red-brown patina. Extremely rare.
