Time of Constantine I. AD 307/310-337. Æ Follis (17mm, 1.84 g, 6h). Local imitation. Larueate, helmeted, and cuirassed bust right / Two Victories standing vis à vis, together holding on altar a signa(?). Cf. RIC VII p. 224. Good VF, dark green patina.

Imitations of the ‘Victoriae laetae’ types are commonly found in hoards of northern Europe. On this particular imitation, the inscribed wreath has been replaced by a signa, which was featured on other coins contemporary with the ‘Victoriae laetae’ issues.
