Domitian. As Caesar, AD 69-81. AV Aureus bezel set in ancient gold pendant (28.5mm, 11.42 g, 7h). Rome mint. Struck under Titus, AD 80-81. Laureate head right / Garlanded and lighted altar. RIC II.1 265 (Titus); Calicó 918. Scratches and scuffing on coin and on pendant, some loss on the edge of the coin to accommodate the bezel, three gold loops attached on back of bezel at 9h, 12h, and 3h to attach a chain. Near Fine. Interesting and wearable by adding a chain.
