Dated year 2 (133/34 CE). “SMA” (abbreviating Simon in paleo-Hebrew) within wreath / “Year two for the freedom of Israel” (paleo-Hebrew), two trumpets upright. Hendin 6421a (this coin illustrated); undertype as TJC 243a; Mildenberg 20 (four listed). Lightly toned, double struck on obverse. Good VF. Overstruck on a denarius of Otho, OTH clear.
