Diademed and draped bust of Diana right, with bow and quiver over shoulder; III VIR downward to left, GETA downward to right / Calydonian boar standing right, pierced by spear and attacked by dog; C HOSIDI C F in exergue. Crawford 407/2; Sydenham 903; Hosidia 1; BMCRR Rome 3388; Kestner 3317–8; RBW 1456. Lightly toned, some luster at the high points, slight delamination flaw on reverse. Choice EF. A superb example of the type.
