BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANIKHTOY ΦIΛOΞENOY, diademed heroic bust left, wearing crested helmet adorned with bull’s horn and ear, and brandishing spear in right hand / maharajasa apadihatasa philasinasa in Kharosthi, Philoxenos, in military attire, on horse rearing right on ground line; Σ below, monogram to upper left. Bopearachchi 9C = MIG Type 343c (third example); Bopearachchi & Rahman –; SNG ANS 1198; HGC 12, 270. Lightly toned, hint of deposits, porosity, cleaning marks. EF. Great metal.
