Lot of six (6) Lower Egypt. New Kingdoms Period Scarabs. . Lot includes: (13 mm) Steatite scarab with two uraei with lotus. Scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. On back, worn details define features of the insect. On face, two uraei flank on either side of a lotus plant.

(12 mm) Feldspar scarab. Scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. On the back simple features are defined. On face, crude hieroglyphs, suggesting the meaning “May Amun endure.”

(14 mm) Steatite scarab with dog. A scarab with a central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is simply engraved, with basic features defined. On the face, partial loss at the top of the scarab on the face doesn’t allow for a full read. What is present is a dog facing right and r’.

(12 mm) Steatite scarab. A scarab with a central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back features engraving of basic elements of the scarab. On the face, hieroglyphs suggesting “May Amun Endure.”

(15 mm) Steatite scarab. A scarab with a central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is plain save for simple detail of the head and clypeus. On the face, loss on the lower portion and left side of the scarab interferes with the read. Significant damage present.

(14 mm) Steatite scarab with seated man. Scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. On back, a large portion of the engraving is lost to cracking. Some evidence that the back once was well carved with details of the features of the scarab. On the face, a seated man faces right, surrounded by anX mr-i (beloved life) . .
