Feldspar scarab with crowns and pharaoh’s name in hieroglyphs. Lower Egypt. New Kingdoms Period. Tuthmose III. 18th Dynasty. 1479-1425 BC. (15 mm) A scarab with a central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is engraved with features of the scarab, including legs. On the face, a central cartouche reading m’n Xpr r’(Tuthmose III) flanked by two stylized crowns of Lower Egypt. Small chips.
