Steatite scarab with ureaus. Lower Egypt. New Kingdoms Period. 1550-1050 BC. (16 mm) Scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back of the scarab is well defined, showing feature as clearly. On the face, the head of an ureaus and two nb (lord) with two other hieroglyphs that are worn so that they can’t be read. Partial meaning would be “Eternal Lord Pharoah…”. Fine. |
