Steatite scarab with seated Bastet. Lower Egypt. New Kingdoms Period. 1550-1050 BC. (13 mm) Scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is simply engraved, features are defined. On the face, n'b b'stet ma'At r' “May the truth of Lady Bastet endure” in hieroglyphics. Some flaking on the back.
