Steatite scarab with personal name in hieroglyphs. Lower Egypt. Hyskos Period. 1650-1550 BC. (15 mm) Scarab with central bidirectional piercing for suspension. The back is well defined and basic features of the scarab are clear. On face, a personal name in five hieroglyphs, with emphasis on the vulture hieroglyph nrt, often associated to the goddess Nekhebet. Small chip at edge.
