Silver pendant with facing head of Apollo. Greek, Hellenistic Period, 3rd-1st centuries BC. (25 mm) A silver pendant with a partially present loop for suspension. The cast image of Apollo facing 3/4 right with flowing hair; clear details to the face and fine sculpting demonstrate the engraver’s skill. Probably once set into a bezel. The style of Apollo is reminiscent of the coinage of Larissa. Toned, minor deposits. Website shipping rates do not apply.
