Crowned facing busts of Leo and Constantine, each wearing chlamys; cross over pellet above / Large M; cross above, X/X/X to left, N/N/N to right, A below. Cf. DOC 7; cf. SB 1630; Leu 9, lot 1304 (same dies). Earthen brown patina. Good Fine. Extremely rare, only three examples on Coin Archives. An interesting type similar to SB 1630 but completely lacking the obverse legend and instead featuring a cross and or pellet between the busts. |
