Coin Cabinets. Vintage Mahogany Coin Cabinet. Of uncertain manufacture, circa 1940-1960s. Case mahogany with two sets of brass plated pulls and carrying handles. Contains 6 black velvet-lined mahogany trays with composition board bottoms. A total of 5 trays, each with 10 openings for dollar-sized coins, and one velvet lined tray for oversized medals. Overall dimensions of cabinet are: 17½ inches (444.5mm) x 11½ inches (292.1mm) x 9⅜ inches (229.2mm). Tray dimensions: 15⅜ inches (382.mm) x 9⅞ (254mm). Average weight is 16 pounds (7.5kg).
