ROMAN. Man’s silver wedding ring. Circa 3rd-4th centuries AD. (Inside measures 20 mm x 18 mm). A simple silver ring for a man made from a single sheet, then soldered at base of the ring. Gilt oval bezel shows the dextrarum iunctio, the “joining of right hands”, a symbol of entering into marriage under Roman law. A few marks and earthen deposits. Otherwise, VF.
