LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (18.5mm, 7.80 g, 10h). Wreathed head of Demeter left / Barley ear with leaf to left; above leaf, griffin springing right; [Λ]Y below leaf. Johnston Class C, 6; HN Italy 1589. Lightly toned, compact flan, a little off center and some die wear on obverse. Good VF.
