Gold belt buckle. Late Medieval–Renaissance, circa 14th-16th centuries AD. (32.5 mm x 20 mm, 14.99 g). An hourglass-shaped design with three mounts on reverse to attach to leather. On the face is a simple plant motif, single tang over a hollowed center. Deposits in the recesses. Otherwise, about as made.
