IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, laureate head right / PON MAX TR P COS VII, Pax seated left on throne, holding olive branch in right hand and resting left arm at side. RIC II.1 851 (R3); Calicó –; BMCRE –; BN –; Biaggi –. Some underlying luster, thin obverse scratch, a few minor marks. Near VF. Carradice and Buttrey knew of only one example of this issue, in the Vatican Museum in Rome. None in CoinArchives.
