CYPRUS, Salamis. Nikodamos. Circa 460-450 BC. AR Twelfth Stater – Obol (10mm, 0.69 g, 12h). Head of ram left / Head of ram right; pa-ni (in Cypriot) above, branch below. McGregor –; cf. Zapiti & Michaelidou 21 (Euanthes); Tziambazis –. Deeply toned. EF. Apparently unique.

These types, with branch on reverse, are common on fractions of Nikodamos’ successor, Euanthes, but the legend here clearly indicates the former.
