ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.64 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Herakleides, Eukles(i)–, and Dionyso(s), magistrates. Struck 105/4 BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right on amphora, head facing; magistrates’ names in fields; in right field, winged Tyche standing left, holding uncertain object over amphora and cradling cornucopia; Γ on amphora, AΠ below; all within wreath. Thompson 745c (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602. Toned, struck with worn obverse die. Good VF.
