Draped facing bust, wearing Sasanian-style merlon crown; lillah to left, al-mulk to right; mint formula and AH date in outer margin / Name and titles of Saladin in four lines within pelleted square; continuation of legend in outer margins. Whelan Type A, 261-2; Balog, Ayyubids 174; Album 791.1; ICV –. Red-brown patina, areas of weakness. Near VF. Very rare.
