Macrianus. Usurper, AD 260-261. Antoninianus (22mm, 4.21 g, 6h). Samosata mint. 2nd emission. Radiate and cuirassed bust right, slight drapery on left shoulder / AEQVTAS (sic) AVGG, Aequitas standing left, holding scales and cornucopia. RIC V 5 var. (star in left field); MIR 36, 1727b; RSC 1 var. (same). Light silvering. Good VF. An attractive example with clean surfaces. Scarce in such good metal. Rare variety.
