MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (10mm, 2.67 g). Forepart of sphinx left; to right, tunny diagonally left downward / Quadripartite incuse square. Von Fritze I 71; Boston MFA 1428 = Warren 1526; cf. SNG BN 198–9 (staters). Minor edge splits, a little off center on obverse, banker’s mark on edge. Near VF. Rare, only four in CoinArchives.
