ATTICA, Athens. Circa 353-294 BC. AR Tetradrachm (22mm, 16.79 g). Helmeted head of Athena right, with profile eye and pi-style palmette / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left. Kroll –; HGC 4, 1599. Toned, some roughness, countermark (Udjat eye) and bankers’ marks on obverse, light scratches and die break on reverse. Good Fine. Early issue with the palmette only slightly taking pi-style form.
