Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (18.5mm, 2.85 g, 5h). Rome mint. Struck AD 77-78. Laureate head right / Mars standing left, holding spear and trophy; stalk of grain to right. RIC II.1 939; RSC 129. Toned, some scrapes and scratches over porous surfaces, slightly ragged edge. Good Fine. Rare with the stalk of grain on the reverse.
