Maximinus II. AD 310-313. AV Aureus (20mm, 5.22 g, 12h). Alexandria mint. Struck AD 308. MAXIMI NVS P F AVG, laureate head right / SOLI IN VICTO, Sol standing left, raising right arm and holding head of Serapis; ALE. RIC VI 132; Depeyrot 13/4; Calicó 5038. Toned with with underlying luster, light earthen deposits, scratch along base of neck, some scuffs and edge marks. Near EF. Struck in high relief. Very rare.
