RIC IV 156; RSC 108; BMCRE 507. Attractive iridescent toning, edge flaw. Near EF. Rare.

This rare reverse type, struck by both Septimius Severus and Caracalla, marks the only appearances of Jupiter Sospitator (”rescuer”) on Roman coinage.
