Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.43 g, 6h). “Judaea Capta” commemorative. Antioch mint. Struck AD 72-73. IMP CAES VESP AVG P M COS IIII, laureate head right / Palm tree; to left, Vespasian standing right, holding spear in right hand and parazonium in left, left foot on helmet; to right, Judaea, in attitude of mourning, seated right. RIC II.1 1558; Hendin 6520; RPC II 1930; RSC 645; BMCRE 510-1; BN 318-20. Lightly toned, struck with a worn obverse die. Good VF.
