Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.43 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 141-146. Draped bust right, wearing hair bound in pearls on top of her head / Pietas standing left, dropping incense on lighted candelabrum to left and holding acerrum (incense box). RIC III 395c (Pius); RSC 237. A few light scratches. Good VF. Scarce variety.
