CRUSADERS, Antioch. Bohémond III. 1163-1201. BI Denier (18mm, 0.84 g, 9h). Class B. Antioch mint. Struck circa 1163-1188. Bust left, wearing Norman helmet decorated with cross pattée and chainmail coif; crescent to left, to right, star above pellet / Cross pattée; crescent in second quarter. Cf. Metcalf, Crusades 370; CCS 66c. Lightly toned, traces of deposits, some porosity, slightly bent flan. Fine. Rare.
