John II Comnenus. 1118-1143. AV Hyperpyron (28mm, 4.61 g, 6h). Thessalonica mint. Struck 1122-1137(?). Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing / John standing facing, holding labarum and akakia, being crowned by the Theotokos. DOC 5; SB 1948. Toned, graffiti on obverse. VF.
