THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 356-337 BC. AR Hemidrachm (15mm, 3.04 g, 5h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, hair in ampyx, wearing single-pendant earring and necklace / Horse standing right, preparing to lie down; ΛAPIΣ-AIΩN above and below. BCD Thessaly 325 (same obv. die); HGC 4, 464; Giessener Münzhandlung 44 (3 April 1989), lot 282 (same dies). Some light die rust and granularity, flan flaw on the reverse. Near EF.
